Bluetooth connection to the Smart Chef app

Setup Bluetooth connection between Smart Chef app and scale is easy. It’s all done automatically, all you need to do is turning on the Smart Chef scale and start the Smart Che app

 

IMPORTANT: The Smart Chef Pocket Smart Food Scale DOES NOT REQUIRE the standard Pairing process, please follow the steps below:

 

STEP ONE: Switch on Bluetooth function

Make sure the Bluetooth function is switched on in your mobile device.

iOS

  1. Tap on Settings.
  2. Select “General”
  3. Tap on “Bluetooth”
  4. Flip the On/Off button to toggle Bluetooth on or off.
  5. Close out of Settings and you’re on your way.

Android

  1. Tap on Settings.
  2. Select “General”
  3. Tap on “Bluetooth”
  4. Flip the On/Off button to toggle Bluetooth on or off.
  5. Close out of Settings and you’re on your way.

 

STEP TWO: Turn on the Smart Food Scale (Smart Kitchen Scale)

Give a single quick touch on the LED button located in the front of the Smart Food Scale (or Smart Kitchen Scale)

to turn on the scale. Once turned on, the LED indicator will remain solid Green.

 

(If the LED light turn Red and switch off by itself that means the device’s battery power is low and requires recharging. In this case please visit HERE for instructions on how to recharge the built-in battery of your Pocket Smart Food Scale or Smart Kitchen Scale.)

 

STEP THREE: Start the Smart Chef Smart Food Scale app

Start the mobile device in your mobile device by pressing the Smart Chef app icon and follow the steps below:

While the Pocket Smart Food Scale is connected to the Smart Chef app, the scale will stay on indefinitely. To disconnect the Smart Food Scale from the app, please shut off the app and the scale will turn off automatically after 120 seconds. 

Alternatively, simply rest your finger on the LED button for 3-5 seconds and the Smart Food Scale will switch off.
